Inspired by legendary race and road car engineering, Zenos distils the approach of added lightness for a new generation. Extensive R&D work, with team experience gained from leading companies in the sector, led Zenos to develop and refine its own solutions.
Based a clean-sheet lightweight concept from the very beginning, Zenos’ architecture seeks to balance form and function to achieve optimum performance from every ounce in weight.
An extruded aluminium spine chassis provides the core structure, delivering excellent tortional rigidity, with suspension, powertrain and passenger tub all then fitted as part of the assembly.
All significant weight is inboard of both front and rear axles, while a fully independent front suspension utilises pushrod and inboard-mounted dampers to reduce drag as well as lowing un-sprung mass and improving ride and steering response. Conventional coil over dampers at the rear are mounted directly to the tubular steel subframe which holds the engine and gearbox.
A true carbon-based light form, the car features not only a carbon fibre main tub, but a full carbon body as well. The advanced material is also features across the cabin to ensure that the car is as light and as focused as possible.
Modular and scalable, the vehicle platforms can be easily configured to the final car’s design – allow a flexible approach to new models and bespoke solutions.
